Usually pins inside a week and a harvest a few days after that, though it moves with the how warm your room is. A warm room is quicker than a cold one, and that is about the only thing that changes it.

A 5 lb bag typically gives 1 to 2 lb across its first flush, and then keeps going for up to four flushes in total.

That is mycelium and it is meant to be there. What is not meant to be there is green, black, or wet grey patches, or a sour smell. If you see any of those, photograph it and send it to us.

We hold the bag back rather than post it into either. You will get an email telling you we have done it and roughly when it will go instead.

Dormant spore material sold for microscopy, taxonomy, identification and educational work. It is a specimen, not a kit. Nothing about it grows and no cultivation advice comes with it.
